Media Validator to Help Recruit Employees

By Clyde Fernandes
Mumbai, June 3, 2004

Software manufacturer Media IBC has recently introduced a software, called the Validator, that can actually think like a human being and delve into human psychology.

According to Gautam Sinha, CEO, Media IBC, "The software allows organizations to hire with growth and stability, overcome geographical boundaries and minimize cost while scanning the best possible talent within constraints."

"The software validates a prospective employee's potential, his/her psychology, and then delivers an unbiased judgment on the would-be employee. The Validator is configured to current industry configurations including BPO," Sinha said.

The new software functions in three broad applications - a recorder to record questions and store details for uploading and downloading, a validator that plays the questions, records answers, and a ratifier that plays the answers, displays information and shortlists.

Currently, Validator for low and medium hierarchies and Validator 2, aimed at senior level management, are available. An enterprise-enabled software, Validator works with Microsoft technology on the front-end and Linux technology on back-end.

All marketing rights lie with Chrisp Solutions. Though the focus is not on resellers at present, once its complete range of offerings hits the market, Media IBC may form a channel.

Priced at from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 8 lakh on outright purchase, users can also rent the application for a duration. The Validator will be especially useful for companies with high employee count and burnouts. It can also be customized for smaller needs as well. The software is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the HR department, cut hiring costs and coordinate as it can take audio, written and all types of psychometric tests.

How do you view this innovative software?
